FindsafeCare.com was founded in 2011 by Gary and Stephanie Farrer, founders and directors of Safehands Care Limited based in Blackpool. Together with a strong team of care professionals, they have over 50 years experience running children's nurseries and out-of-school holiday clubs. in addition to the foregoing, they delivered creche and babysitting services to domestic homes and over 850 leading hotels within the UK.In 2002 Gary and Stephanie registered with the government agency Care Quality Commission (CQC; previously CSCI) to deliver domiciliary care services around the North West of England to children with disabilities including vulnerable older adults in the community and up until recently when the company was bought out, they added a 47 bedroom hotel to their portfolio designed exclusively for adults with disabilities and their families.

James' Story
"Keep smiling and do not let anything get in the way of your dreams!"James Butcher.James Butcher, born in Freckleton, Lancashire, allowed us to follow his journey of making a name for himself within the music industry. James was born totally blind but has never let anything stand in the way of his dream of becoming a well-known musician and with the help of findsafecare.com and the support he receives, James is now able to realise that dream.
James lives independently in St Anne's-on-Sea, Lancashire, where he enjoys the company of his friends, family, carers and personal assistants. James grew up listening to an eclectic mix of music including classical and war time music which was played to him by his Grandfather as a child. With lots of encouragement, James was eager to become a musical person and he created his dream of becoming as big a star as those he listened to growing up.
James has won numerous awards for his singing and is also a very popular accordionist playing daily to friends, families and gathered audiences. James also has a talent for the grand piano, which he is still rehearsing to add to his musical repertoire.
The biggest influence to James is his Nana who played a very big role in his life, James says "My Nana influenced me, she was a very big part of my life, as were both sets of grandparents, they inspired me to do well. Not forgetting my mum and dad who also helped so much with my dreams. Ian, my vocal coach is amazing, He is always there to cheer me up when I am feeling down with his hilarious sense of humour."

James biggest inspiration is Katharine Jenkins, James says “Katherine Jenkins as she has such a beautiful voice. I have performed for her backstage which was absolutely a dream come true.” James Continues “She told me my playing was gorgeous and sent me her new album 'Rejoice' which she signed. She also sent me a calendar and a photograph of Katherine and I that was taken at her concert backstage.”
James disability has never stopped him from achieving what he has wanted, over the next few years James aspires to meet someone special and continue his dream to musical stardom. James currently receives support from a local care agency who help his with day to day activates, and uses his own money to support additional help to continue his journey to musical stardom.
James used findsafecare.com to find two personal assistants that suited his needs and lifestyle. He used his personal assistants to help arrange, promote and organise his concerts which were a great success.
James is an inspiration to everyone he meets and has never let anything get in the way of his dream, de-spite setbacks or disability James live happily, healthy and life to the full.
